Spreads

So this is mainly for milan since he requested me to upload something and seeing as i'm still trying to finish organising my dummy book to print very early tomorrow, plus a late night, a little procastination never hurt anyone! Here is an example of two of my final spreads, feel free to give constructive criticism, but don't take it to hurt if I don't change it by tomorrow morning...lol because that'll be pretty impossible...hmm unless they're unanimously hated, then maybe I will?

  1. Bits like the owls tail on the second image have been corrected btw on the printed version I have, and I made the top image too small, but you can zoom it and the resolution is fine so hmm?

  3. well! You did as I expected and fell at the most important hurdle - the presentation of your idea - is this bad news, NO! It's good because I'm going to run you along Katie and Milan, and get you to be as patient as them. Also, I'm sure you won't be the only one to get the worng end of the stick on certain aspects (Milan's perception of dummy book size!!)
All three of you, actually Four, as Hannah's work (I sneaked a look) is getting there! Should aim to finish the Macmillan around June/July, and prepare for another adventure thereafter - Hey! You can enter two books each if you like!! See it as having produced two picture books!

You can even hold off this one for a while, and go for Freddie and the fairy! Which I think all of you (especially Murray) woud enjoy!

  4. I agree with the criticism completely, I'm not disheartened as I feel I made alot of progress and despite how cliche the old "failure is progress" was in todays lecture, it is very true! Although it is a sigh of relief to see you in a more merciful mood chiu rather than thy old smiting mood!! I'm going to take a break from the snow to just give it some air for me to come back and attack again, but will def check out the freddie fairy, takes the pressure off abit that the scripts already written!
