Double spread
It won't be ready for this year this is the next image for the story. Hope everyones work is going well. Murray post something!!! i wanna see the rest of the story!
very beautiful Milan, the trick you've pulled off here is that the content isn't over interesting, yet the composition/colours and drawing just make it something amazing to look at, is very impressive, especially the labels! Only thing is to watch your white type there doesn't get lost, but can't wait to see the rest of them tomorrow! I've nearly finished my dummy book, lol but screwed up the pagination so have made some hilarious but lucky viable and minimal changes to make it work, haha but even though tomorrows the deadline I'll put something up, but only because you asked! lol and don't go expecting something as bespoke as your spread here! It'll be up in abit! Well done again
cheers murray that comment was like a long hug lol yeah i might put a cheeky drop shadow to make it stand out a bit more. yeah the composition is pretty simple- the original pencil version is a bit lame so it needed some colour. dont be daft lol your work is badass- is the dummy book going to be as detailed as the first few images uploaded? cuz if it is thats gonna be mental! im gonna get some popcorn and sit here now and refresh the page every 30 seconds till u upload some genius :) not really...
with this image the background cogs are too similar in tone with the foreground, you really hope to see a very strong sense of depth as your eye wanders from the jars to the barely visible cogs - as is it's too in your face. I wasn't beating about the bush Milan, because you are up there in terms of ability
thats cool- i'll change them so they are more like that murkier brown wall behind the cogs. thinking about it technically the cogs should be a little blurred as well because they wouldnt both be in completely equal focus
